The connection status, based on ping time to/ from the server: = less than 1 second; = 1 to 3 seconds; = more than 3 seconds.
When a gray box surrounds the network-performance icon, it signifies that this is you in this room.
The status of the microphone (mic) for that person. Blank = No mic or mic disabled; = Mic is muted; = Mic is on.
Participation status: A person can indicate that they are "Offline" by turning on this status indicator. The indicator does not automatically change based on user activity. See the details below.
The room's People List is broken down by Presenters and Participants. Participants have a sub-set of the capabilities that Presenters have.
Participant Controls
Using a "right-click" of the mouse with the cursor over a name, Participants can [1] change their own status to "Offline," and [2] privately chat with--or send a file to--others in the room.
Presenter Controls
In addition to the capabilities that Participants have, Presenters--with the right-mouse-click function--can do the following:
Eject anyone in the room from the meeting
Eject everyone in the room
Promote any Participant to Presenter
Ask anyone in the room for permission to take control of their desktop
Choose one person in the room to give the exclusive use of a microphone
Enable or disable the microphone for any person in the room
Send a person--or persons--to a pre-configured Breakout Room
